Our client is a fast-expanding organization operating within a broader European group, providing critical customs and logistics services. This role offers hands-on responsibility across accounting operations in a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

  • Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP): process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payment execution
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR): issue customer invoices, monitor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control processes
  • Assist with internal and external audits and contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and reports


Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience, ideally covering both AP and AR
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Visma, or similar)
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish is a plus (but not required)
