About the Company:
Our client is a global leader in the industrial manufacturing and project space, known for cutting-edge technology and a strong focus on innovation. They are on an exciting journey of strategic growth, including planned M&A activity and investor engagement.

Role Overview:
As Group Controller, you will have direct responsibility for managing the finance, administrative, and controlling departments with a team of c30 professionals across 10 business units. 

Key Responsibilities of the Group Controller:
  • Team Leadership & Management
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Budgeting & Business Planning
  • External Communications
  • Credit & Treasury Management
  • Operational Savings & Cost Reductions
  • Risk Management & Internal Controls
The Ideal Candidate:
  • An Accounting background, with experience in business controlling and FP&A (at least 3-5 years), ideally including time spent in a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Proven experience in cost controlling initiatives
  • M&A experience is a plus
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to lead a finance team whilst engaging hands-on
  • Able to discuss financial strategy with the CEO in the morning and dive into detailed financial analysis in the afternoon
