Rebecca is an Associate Director in our Finance & Accountancy recruitment team in the Netherlands, specilaising in interim postions.

She joined EMEA Recruitment in August 2023, originally specialising in Procurement & Supply Chain recruitment in Switzerland, with over 15 years of recruitment experience across a variety of commercial disciplines. 

Rebecca has a passion for building lasting relationships, ensuring to listen to the needs of candidates and clients to find long-term solutions. Using a people-first approach, Rebecca enjoys getting to know people and what makes them tick; this allows her to identify the right fit for both the organisation and the candidate, and champion the right fit.  

Rebecca is also honest in her approach and always offers a true consultative service. She is willing to challenge expectations when necessary to realise the end goal, which is the formation of a partnership between all parties in the recruitment process.

Rebecca’s Interests

Rebecca’s main interest is spending time with her Labrador, Pearl. Pearl became Rebecca’s sidekick during lockdown and was named after the ship in the film Pirates of the Caribbean.

She is also interested in cooking and has been growing her own fruits and vegetables.

Her other interests include pub quizzing, travelling in her campervan (named Colin), and history, particularly the Tudor and Viking eras.

EMEA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing business in Amsterdam.

This role will begin as a 4-6 month contract. Fluency in English, Dutch & German is essential, and you must be available for monthly travel to the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and successful business. You will assist with strategic and interesting projects, working alongside the Division Controller and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller:

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards across 3 entities
  • Supervise daily accounting activities and work with the local accounting team based in the UK
  • Streamline financial processes and improve cost efficiency
  • Support the senior management team with strategic financial insights

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Dutch & German accounting rules and tax laws
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and German
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related Finance discipline
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

EMEA Recruitment is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller with expertise in ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) to join our client in Utrecht.

This is an initial 3-month project-based role focused on optimizing financial systems and processes during a key ERP rollout.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller:

  • Lead the Business Central ERP implementation from a financial perspective
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Optimize financial processes, reporting, and data accuracy within the new system
  • Provide strategic insights and troubleshooting support throughout the implementation
  • Train and support staff on the new system to ensure a smooth transition

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller leading an ERP System Integration 
  • Strong IT understanding and ability to bridge finance and technology
  • Fluent in Dutch, with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
