Kate joined EMEA Recruitment as an Associate Director for HR recruitment across the Suisse Romande region and Greater Zurich. With a strong background in recruitment spanning eight years, Kate brings a wealth of experience, expertise and confidence to her role.

Before joining EMEA, Kate worked for a UK-based agency as a Regional Manager, specialising in HR recruitment at all levels. During her tenure, she successfully managed a team of five within the HR function and spearheaded HR-focused events and forums. Her career also includes 1.5 years in London, focussing on office support and executive staff recruitment.

Kate loves relationship building and excels at understanding the specific circumstances of every candidate and client. Her ability to adapt her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual allows her to provide tailored support throughout the recruitment process. Kate is known for her nurturing yet assertive style, ensuring she can effectively meet the demands of HR professionals.

She also finds excitement in leveraging her French language skills to support clients and candidates across the Suisse Romande region.

Kate’s Interests

Kate loves to keep fit, regularly enjoying CrossFit and its community aspects.

She also enjoys travelling and tries to travel as much as possible, having visited places such as Bali, Vietnam, Italy, Portugal, France, and Iceland. Kate previously lived in France for 5 years, spending the winters managing a nightclub in a French ski resort, and she loves to ski and snowboard.

She regularly spends time with a brilliant group of friends and is very close to her family. Kate adores her five-year-old apricot Cockapoo named Lola. Lola is her constant companion, accompanying her everywhere, and over the years, Kate has trained her to be the best pub dog!

Cooking is another activity she enjoys, using it as a form of therapy by mellowing out with music and cooking up a storm.

A true Operational HR Manager is the ‘glue’ to any organisation, and the EMEA HR team are lucky enough to partner with a global Consultancy based in Zurich who are looking for just that!

Good news story! This exciting position has arisen following an internal promotion, showing their growing internal culture and role progression.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will partner closely with other business HRBP’s and key stakeholders. You will support the business unit from a HR perspective and ensure the function is fit for purpose.

To be successful in this position, you will speak fluent German, be comfortable with the HR support to c250 employees, and have experience or knowledge of the following: 
  • Management of complex employee relations cases
  • Experience with succession planning and workforce development
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Employee engagement – focussing on improving culture,
  • HR process and policy improvements, including knowledge of Swiss labour law

Successful candidate profile:
  • You will be required to be onsite 3 days a week with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder
  • 3-5 years of stable HR experience at a Manager/BP level
  • Ability to commute to Zurich day-to-day
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Knowledge of Swiss Labour Laws

EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a growing manufacturing business headquartered in Switzerland to recruit a permanent Human Resources Business Partner. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work between 80-100%.

You\'ll join a HR team of five and provide day-to-day support to a headcount of 250, mainly blue-collar employees, based in Romandie.


Your responsibilities as the HRBP: 
  • Employee relations cases and conflict resolution
  • Coaching line managers and answering HR queries
  • Providing training to upskill key stakeholders on HR best practise
  • Additional generalist HR support including recruitment, compensation & benefits reviews, and internal communications
The Successful Candidate Profile:
  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist/BP level experience
  • Proven experience providing HR support to a manufacturing or strong blue-collar headcount
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Happy to consider a salary of circa CHF 100,000-110,000
