Bradley is a Recruitment Consultant in our Finance & Accounting recruitment team in the Netherlands. He joined EMEA Recruitment in January 2023.

With a focus on a multitude of Finance & Accountancy jobs in the Netherlands, Bradley sources and headhunts candidates for our international clients, using his exceptional search skills.  

He enjoys working with a diverse range of people, engaging with candidates on a personal level and learning about their backgrounds. Originally studying Psychology, understanding people is something he thoroughly enjoys.

He is part of our ESG team, actively taking part in a range of fundraising activities and promoting positive wellbeing. As Bradley is a registered blood donor, he also leads our blood donation efforts.

Bradley’s Interests

Bradley’s main interest is ice hockey. Although he has only started playing recently, he has been following ice hockey for a number of years, watching home games in person and the NHL, with aspirations to become a season ticket holder.

His other interests include football, travel, TV and film, and puzzles and trivia.

As an Accountant, you will play an important role in managing financial records for a portfolio of entities, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements
  • Timely and precise reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual cycles

  • Deliver financial analyses and forecasts/variance reviews

Experience required:

This is an exciting opportunity to build on your accounting foundation with exposure to project management and senior stakeholders within the business, to provide insight and recommendations on the company\'s future. 

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Financial Accounting: Manage third-party property accounting, process invoices, maintain cash books, and perform reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany)
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review monthly trial balances, financial statements (GAAP/IFRS), VAT & CIT returns, and liaise with auditors and advisors
  • Journal Management: Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and review interest calculation schedules
  • Business Support & Analysis: Provide financial insights, support with transactions, leasing, and capex projects

Experience and Skills:
  • Experience & Qualifications: Background in financial or management accounting, ideally with CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or AAT certification
  • Skills & Competencies: Proficient in MS Office and accounting software, highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator

The Financial Controller will be responsible for various duties, including the daily control and reporting of activities related to real estate investments in the Netherlands.
