For the first time in history, when playing for the under-20s for Ireland, the team beat the All Blacks (New Zealand’s national rugby team and the most successful international men’s rugby side of all time). 

His other interests include hiking, travelling, photography and swimming.

My client is looking for a Senior Director Supply Chain Planning to design and execute the Supply Chain strategy for their European markets to support growth and efficiency towards the company\'s goals.

The role is based in Zug, Switzerland.

Responsibilities of the Senior Director Supply Chain Planning:
  • Design and lead their complex Supply Chain Planning function to build upon business growth, sales & demand forecasting
  • Coordinate & define planning processes across the entire European extended supply chain, impacting over 100,000 SKUs
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain planning process for Europe, ensuring accurate forecasting, optimal inventory levels and effective demand fulfillment are achieved at optimal costs
  • Instigate best practices across automation, data science and technology solutions to enhance supply chain planning processes

Desirable requirements: 
  • 10+ years\' experience in Supply Chain Management, within a European or multi-regional supply chain environment, with experience leading a transformation project
  • Educated to degree level in Supply Chain Management or Logistics - MBA preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cross-functional relationships simultaneously
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders

The successful candidate will have previous experience of regulatory affairs across pharmaceutical industries and understand Swiss regulations, regulatory guidance, and policies.

Key responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Manager:
  • Maintaining strong relationships with various key stakeholders within the company (global) and authorities in Switzerland
  • Management of the company\'s labels and artwork portfolio
