Ben’s Interests

Ben is an ex-professional rugby player and has travelled the world playing rugby for international teams in the UK, Australia, France, and Italy.

For the first time in history, when playing for the under-20s for Ireland, the team beat the All Blacks (New Zealand’s national rugby team and the most successful international men’s rugby side of all time). 

His other interests include hiking, travelling, photography and swimming.

As the Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist, you\'ll make a difference and support our internal customers. In this role, you\'ll complete our client\'s dynamic, motivated and well-functioning Operational Procurement & Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist: 
  • Full responsibility for ensuring material availability
  • Responsibility for the complete operational procurement process (from series release to delivery of the goods) for your own purchasing area
  • Maintenance of system parameters in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Negotiation regarding price, quality and logistical aspects
  •  Managing existing suppliers in all relevant subjects

Candidate Requirements: 
  • Fluent in German (verbal)
  • Several years of experience in Operational Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship experience

Responsibilities of the Senior Director Supply Chain Planning:
  • Design and lead their complex Supply Chain Planning function to build upon business growth, sales & demand forecasting
