EMEA Recruitment is supporting a well-established global organization in the food industry. Our client seeks to strengthen its Procurement team by hiring a Cocoa Buyer.
In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality cocoa, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective procurement strategies.
You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage risk, optimise sourcing decisions, and support the company’s sustainability commitments.
The organization is seeking a procurement professional with experience in cocoa or commodity buying within an international environment.
We are looking for a high-caliber Cocoa Buyer with the following skills and experience:
- Strong background in commodity procurement, ideally within cocoa or other agricultural raw materials
- Experience in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications in the cocoa industry and the ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sourcing plans
- Experience working in an international environment, managing cross-functional collaborations
- Fluent German is essential
The position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to take on a pivotal role in shaping ethical and efficient sourcing strategies. Some travel will be required for supplier engagement and industry events.

Idealerweise bringen sie mit
- Mehr als 5 jahre vertriebserfahrung im bereich Facility Management
- Erfolgreiche erfahrung im aufbau und der expansion kommerzieller aktivitäten
- Unternehmerische und selbstmotivierte arbeitsweise
- Erfahrung in der geschäftsentwicklung
- Ausgeprägte kommunikationsfähigkeit und präsentationsstärke für innovative produkte
- Fließende Deutschkenntnisse

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance leader to take on the role of Head of Accounting for a dynamic, global technology company.
This position is critical in overseeing global financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and sharing strategic financial insights.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Accounting:
- Overseeing the financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Supervising the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
- Ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and monitoring and adapting to financial regulation changes
- Driving improvements in financial processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing reporting accuracy
- Acting as the primary contact for auditors
- Providing financial expertise and guidance to leadership, contributing to business planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting
- Coaching, developing, and motivating a team of Accounting professionals
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial governance
Key requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, reporting, and closing
- Experience managing and developing Finance teams in a multi-national environment
- Expertise in IFRS, German GAAP (Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to navigate complex financial environments and drive process efficiencies
