EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing company. We are searching for an Operations Controller to join the St. Gallen office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis for the company\'s flagship site. This includes tracking key performance indicators, conducting variance analyses, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities of the Operations Controller:
- Oversee budget preparation and rolling forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning
- Conduct cost analysis, including production costs, material costs, and variance reporting
- Partner with site management to assess financial performance and recommend improvement measures
- Support ERP system enhancements and drive efficiency in financial reporting
Your profile:
- A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Controlling, or a related field
- At least five years of experience in operations controlling, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and BI tools such as Power BI

In this role, you will take ownership of cost optimisation initiatives, providing detailed analyses and insights to inform decision-making and drive value across the business. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure effective cost management for a range of components and projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Cost Specialist:
- Deliver cost estimations and analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through detailed modelling and process optimisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and opportunities
- Engage in supplier negotiations and lead cost audits to ensure transparency
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost databases
Your Profile:
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in cost optimisation, strategic procurement, or product development
- Proficient in advanced analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel; PowerBI is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Background in industrial or technical environments is advantageous
- Fluent in English and German
