EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established international manufacturing company. We are searching for a Senior Controller to join the team at their office in Lucerne.

The successful candidate will oversee financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing key insights to support strategic decision-making. This position is vital in optimizing financial processes, monitoring costs, and enhancing overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Controller:

• Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization
• Oversee cost management, budgeting, and variance analysis to drive efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and process improvements

Your Profile:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial controlling, with a strong focus on cost management and reporting
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and experience with financial consolidation tools
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau

• Perform daily payroll department operations
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Reconcile multi-state payroll before transmission and validate confirmed reports
• Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits
• Time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation and reporting for yearly 401K, payroll and audits
• Process workflow items through the HRIS system

• 5+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist
• Great organisational skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all stakeholders
• Demonstrated accountability and urgency, facing issues positively and flexibly to deliver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Payroll and HRIS systems (Exact HR Salarisgemak & SuccessFactors is preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft skills
• Fluent Dutch and English is essential

• Order-to-cash process: Optimize and automate the O2C process, including customer setups, sales order management, issue resolution, and training

• Replenishment & analysis: Develop CRM and POS integrations, process resale data, initiate replenishment orders, and provide actionable insights

• Customer service: Lead and support the Customer Service team, ensuring quality, resolving complaints, and coordinating operational tasks
• Service development: Analyze and improve processes, monitor service quality, and implement measures to enhance business efficiency and performance

Experience and skills:

• Education: HBO-level education with fluency in Dutch and English - German is advantageous

• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities, with a focus on service excellence

• Personal qualities: Proactive, enthusiastic, commercially driven, flexible, and a team-oriented self-starter
