EMEA Recruitment is seeking a Temporary Marketing Controller (six-month contract) to manage and optimize a multi-million-dollar Trade Marketing and Sales Promotion budget for our global client.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading brand at its HQ in Amsterdam, which would suit a Finance professional with an FP&A background. Hybrid working is available.
This role is integral to coordinating in-store retail display strategies and involves collaboration with various teams, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
What you’ll be doing as Temporary Marketing Controller:
- Budget management: Oversee and update a $10m Trade Marketing and $6m Sales Promotion budget. Review spend, forecasts, and adherence to new CAPEX rules.
- Performance tracking: Manage stock levels for POS displays and demo units. Coordinate shipments and rollouts, ensuring accuracy across regions.
- Collaboration & reporting: Present budget updates to EMEA stakeholders, support forecasting, and contribute to creative customer experience initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- Great communication skills and fluent English
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar, with 2+ years in FP&A, Business Analysis, or Accounting, ideally in an international setting

This is an initial 3-month contract to support a critical year-end project, offering hybrid working arrangements (2 days per week in the office).
As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
Your key responsibilities as the Senior GL Accountant will include:
- Managing the general ledger with a focus on accurate and timely reporting
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Performing complex account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and supporting audits
- Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes
- Driving process improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar senior role
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach
- Familiarity with accounting systems and processes within an international environment

You’ll be the go-to person for sales support administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the success of sales efforts.

Key responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:
- Raising contracts, orders, POs, quotes, legal documentation and offers using the Salesforce system
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Supporting Sales Managers with a proactive deal support and solutions
- Collaborating with the team to ensure deadlines and goals are met
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a sales support role (2-3 years min.)
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly desirable
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Fluent in English + one other language preferably

This is not a full-time position. It requires an experienced payroll professional with one or two a week available to expand their portfolio.
Responsibilities of Interim Payroll Contractor:
This role has two elements.
Day to day:
- You will partner with the current Payroll Specialist to support them during the monthly period of processing the payroll (this is not outsourced)
- Payroll calculations, managing deductions, taxes and benefits
- Ensuring compliance with local labour law and tax regulations
- Manage the process of bringing various payroll processes in-house
- Partnering internationally to ensure the smooth running of the project
Experience required:
- Worked with various EMEA-based payroll processes
- Comfortable with the full payroll process including the payment to employees
- Managed a similar project of bringing a payroll function ‘in-house’
