Head of Accounting - Exclusive

Job Description

We have exclusively partnered with our client, a leading US multinational company, in its search for a Head of Accounting, Corporate Holdings to lead the financial operations for its Swiss entities.

Your Key Responsibilities as the Head of Accounting:

• Manage accounting for the Swiss entities
• Lead the preparation of consolidated budgets for Swiss entities
• Implement new accounting standards 
• Ensure strong internal controls 
• Manage tax declarations and reporting requirements 
• Support M&A activities, divestments, and tax optimisation projects

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in a leading Accounting position for a US-listed company
• US GAAP, Swiss GAAP, IFRS, SOX
• Project experience, e.g. setting up new finance structures, M&A, divestment
• Broad finance experience: Budgeting, Tax, Treasury
• Entrepreneurial: the ability to work in a dynamic, unstructured environment and implement new structures
• Ability to work independently and manage teams across multiple locations
• Hands-on mentality
• Ability to travel occasionally to the US
