Category Manager Raw Materials

Job Description

My client, an international FMCG business, is recruiting a Category Manager – Raw Materials. Based at my client's head office near Zug, you will support their procurement team with sourcing ingredients and raw materials.

As Category Manager – Raw Materials, you will manage Procurement for subcategories including grains and flavours. You will support the regional strategy design and execution in line with local business requirements. 

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate with the following skillset and experience:

• Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level
• Ideally 4+ years of experience in Procurement at a strategic level
• Experience managing raw materials procurement within the last 2 years, specifically within food and beverage ingredients
• Strong negotiator with previous experience leading key supplier negotiations
• Fluent English is essential - other languages are beneficial
