Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is seeking a German-speaking CFO for an FMCG company in its scale-up phase. This critical role involves laying the financial groundwork for the business with a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As CFO your responsibilities are broad and include FP&A, Accounting & Reporting, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology and Systems. Specifically, we are looking for CFOs with strong expertise in:

• Optimising Capital Structure: Lead debt financing and capital restructuring initiatives. Must have a strong network within the finance industry
• Strategic Partnering: Advise the CEO on strategic decisions, including evaluating and executing M&A deals
• Financial Operations: Oversee Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and lead the respective teams

Your Profile:

• Experience as a CFO (Accounting, Controlling or FP&A)
• Well-connected in the finance/banking industry
• Prior experience in the FMCG sector is preferred
• Proven success in M&A transactions and post-merger integrations
• Fluency in both German and English is essential
