VAT Analyst

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is currently representing an international and rapidly growing consumer goods company. 

We are looking for a VAT Analyst to join their recently established regional HQ in Zug.

The responsibilities of the VAT Analyst will include:

• Preparation and filing of VAT returns, Intrastat reports, EC Sales Lists
• Collaborating with the Finance department to ensure accounting correctness with VAT regulations
• Preparing reconciliations and cleaning up VAT accounts
• Gather necessary data from internal stakeholders for VAT reporting
• Coordinating tax payments derived from the VAT filings
• Ad hoc tasks and projects

• 1-3 years of business experience in the Tax and/or a Finance Department
• Excellent knowledge of Excel web-based applications
• Previous experience in data analysis
• Strong numerical understanding, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively
