Senior Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established technology company. We are searching for a Senior Accountant to join the Zug office.

The successful candidate will oversee the financial accounts of the Swiss and German entities, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.

The position provides a blend of hands-on financial responsibilities and strategic financial analysis, contributing to the company’s ongoing success.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Oversee financial accounting and reporting for the Swiss and German entities, ensuring compliance with Swiss GAAP (OR) and German GAAP (HGB)

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring adherence to Swiss and German social security regulations
• Handle financial statements, tax returns, and audits while liaising with external auditors and tax authorities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, contributing to financial strategy and planning

Your profile:

• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP (OR) and Swiss payroll regulations; familiarity with German GAAP (HGB) is an advantage
• Professional proficiency in English and German
• At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in Switzerland or Germany
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and audits
