120,000 - 140,000 + discretionary bonus
 

Job Description

My client, a leading investment corporation, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and growing team.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy of the Accounting team's operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsibe for the Accounting of 25 entities
  • Utilize your technical accounting background to handle requests from bookkeeping and address complex accounting issues
  • Actively contribute to team growth by identifying training needs, providing guidance, and facilitating professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize systems, and enhance overall efficiency
  • Take ownership of systems, leveraging your problem-solving skills to navigate complexities and drive continuous improvement
  • Consolidate multiple Chart of Accounts into streamlined versions, demonstrating your ability to simplify and optimize accounting processes
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in technical accounting roles, preferably in multinational environments
  • A strong understanding of operational accounting principles
  • Fluency in German is essential for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with accounting systems
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization
