Junior Financial Accountant

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established international transportation company. We are searching for a Junior Financial Accountant to join their office in Baar, Switzerland. 

The successful candidate will manage various aspects of financial accounting, including processing business transactions, preparing monthly accruals, and handling foreign currency revaluation.

Key responsibilities of the Junior Financial Accountant:

• Independently manage financial transactions, including monthly accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations
• Oversee payroll postings and reconcile payroll accounts while collaborating with HR on necessary adjustments
• Contribute to VAT return preparation and assist with annual financial closing processes
• Support intercompany reconciliations, liquidity planning, and preparation of budgets and financial analyses

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training, ideally within the fiduciary sector
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP accounting standards
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus
• Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Business Central (Navision) is advantageous
