Head of Communications & Engagement

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is searching for a Head of Communications & Engagement for our Zug-based client.

This critical role will lead Communications and Engagement with a specific focus on Switzerland and managing communications with Swiss-based strategic stakeholders.

Key responsibilities as Head of Communications & Engagement include:

• Build and own the company's Communications strategy
• Protect the company's reputation as a Swiss-listed and Swiss-domiciled business through effective and well managed Communications
• Provide Public Relations leadership through ownership and management of public relations program
• Serve as the company spokesperson managing Media, Agencies and requests for engagement
• Lead the creation of Swiss-specific content, including media materials, annual report contributions, key messages, and Q&As for Swiss stakeholders
• Manage cross border collaboration and engagement between Switzerland and North American teams

The ideal candidate profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
• Hold 10+ years experience in corporate communications, media relations or public relations
• Experience of working with and understanding Swiss media landscape
• A genuine spokesperson with established relations with the Swiss press and media agencies
• Fluent in English and German
