EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a leading retail company to recruit a Manager of Income Tax based in Utrecht, Netherlands.As the Manager of Income Tax Accounting & Reporting, you will oversee Corporate Income Tax (CIT) accounting and compliance for over 20 European and Asian legal entities. You will also manage tax processes, ensure compliance, and support tax audits and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely local CIT and trade tax compliance
- Oversee third-party preparation and review of CIT returns
- Act as the primary contact for external tax service providers
- Support tax audits and manage tax payments, forecasts, and tracking
- Maintain accurate tax accounts in the general ledger
- Manage monthly account reconciliations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in corporate tax or a Big 4 tax consultancy
- Proficiency in CIT compliance, advanced Excel, and tax accounting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Experience with US-owned companies and tools like PeopleSoft/OneSource is a plus
- Fluent in English; other EU languages are a bonus
