EMEA Recruitment is excited to work with a multinational industry-leading services business as they search for a Head of Finance to lead their accounting and controlling teams.
Reporting to the General Manager and functionally to the Group Finance Director, you will lead a team responsible for managing financial performance, compliance, and process improvements.
This role involves overseeing accounting, controlling, and treasury operations while driving financial reporting, budgeting, and process optimisation to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance:
Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate monthly and annual financial closings
Responsible for both local and international compliance of accounting standards
Manage treasury operations, ensuring a constant oversight of cash flow and maintaining a strong relationship with banking
Continuous relationship building with external advisors to manage tax declarations
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, including variance analysis
Monitor and manage balance sheet performance frequently.
Manage financial processes, ensuring compliance and aligning with group standards throughout
Review and execution of integrating new entities into the current financial systems and processes
Profile Sought:
Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Control
Experience: 7-10 years in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling, with international exposure preferred
Skills: Expertise in financial analysis, accounting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS), and ERP systems. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in English and Dutch languages
