Job Description

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a dynamic Product Development Manager to join their Zürich-based team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend strategic planning and creativity with scientific knowledge to bring innovative food products to market.

This opportunity would suit someone with relevant Product Development experience or a Senior Food Technologist making their next career step.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new food products, from concept through to commercialisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and supply chain
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new product opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field
  • Proven experience in product development, with a successful track record of launching new products
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • A creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
