External Manufacturing Manager

CHF 130,000-150,000 plus bonus
 

Job Description

We are exclusively working with a growing beverage business who are seeking to engage with an External Manufacturing Manager to manage their substantial external manufacturers across the European Region.

 

Our client is currently experiencing rapid growth and building an External Manufacturing team that will be tasked with ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of third-party manufacturers.

 

You will be the main point of contact for over 20 plants across 9 European countries, with plans to open in at least 3 more locations in the coming months.

 

You will be responsible for growing and offering strategic insight to the External Manufacturing area which will include overseeing all vendor relationships.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience translating forecasts into supply requirements and executing strategy to ensure third-party manufacturing performance is in line with business growth.

 

External Manufacturing Manager, Zug, Switzerland

 

For this External Manufacturing Manager role, we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skillsets:

  • Ideally 5+ years’ Supply Chain experience in a FMCG environment, beverage industry experience would be a particular advantage
  • Experience working internationally with External Manufacturing or within a Manufacturing plant
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control and risk management
  • Experience in agile, fast-growing businesses would be advantageous
  • Fluent English, any other language would be an advantage
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
