Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a transforming manufacturing business, based in the Schaffhausen area, seeking a Procurement Controller.

Joining this newly-created team, you will be given the freedom to build new processes on a global scale and be the sparring partner to the Global CPO.

The successful applicant will have strong experience in Procurement Controlling within manufacturing, speak fluent German, and be able to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment.

This role will require 20% travel to other plants across five different continents.

Duties of the Procurement Controller will include:

• Provide financials for several plants to the CPO, including budget and cost controlling activities
• Implement and develop global standards and compliance checks
• Develop analysis around Procurement performance metrics and (material) price development
• Monitor, support, and review reported savings on global and local level, and enhance reporting functionalities
• Point of contact for local controllers in all Procurement-related matters
• Oversee the financial aspects of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum of 6 years working in manufacturing within Procurement Controlling
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build and maintain international relationships
• Strong Excel skills
