EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a global leader in the FMCG industry that is outgrowing the market by continuously adding to its innovative portfolio.

My client is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst on a 3-6 month contract, who can help monitor the ESG & Sustainability data within their portfolio of suppliers.


The Sustainability Data Analyst will report into the VP of Sustainability. You will acquire data from some of their largest suppliers to ensure compliance and ESG standards throughout.

Based in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe, this role is hybrid or remote and requires immediate availability

The role:

As the Sustainability Data Analyst, you will be the go-to contact for any queries regarding Sustainability & Regulatory data from the portfolio of suppliers.

By analysing the data you will identify trends, errors and gaps within the supplier's reports/templates to establish key areas of improvement for the sustainability team.


Your responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the organisation's overall ESG & Sustainability strategy by gaining valuable data insights throughout the organisation’s portfolio
  • The main point of contact for any queries or questions about the suppliers' ESG & Sustainability reporting templates as they are being introduced.  
  • Accountable for monitoring Sustainability data through the organisation’s ingredients and packaging suppliers
  • Manage the Sustainability reports for approximately 40 accounts to have full visibility of the organisation’s portfolio ESG & Sustainability status
  • Communicate with suppliers on how to correctly input data for the Sustainability reports
  • Present recommended data to the Sustainability team through Excel identifying key trends

Personal Qualifications & Experience:
  • Immediately available to start (European right to work is required)
  • Understanding of Procurement/Supply Chain suppliers
  • Strong Excel skills, a good communicator with the ability to present data to senior stakeholders
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sustainability or Energy
