Key responsibilities of the Payroll Director:
Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of payroll professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic payroll initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements
Global Compliance: Ensure compliance with international payroll regulations and stay abreast of changes in payroll laws across various countries
Process Optimization: Implement efficient payroll processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall organizational performance
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with payroll operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience in a senior-level payroll leadership role within an international context
In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with payroll systems and technology, e.g. Workday, Top of Form
