Senior Group Accountant

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is delighted to be working with an international manufacturing business in its search for a Group Accountant.

As the Group Accountant, you will be the main point of contact for SAP within the Finance function (SAP Group Key User). 

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a driving role within Accounting, working with a group-wide function, with strong career progression prospects.

Duties of the Group Accountant include: 

• Reporting and analysis of the group's monthly results/reporting
• Reporting to Swiss GAAP FER - including maintenance and implementation, being the main contact for Swiss GAAP FER queries
• Contact point for SAP (SD and MM) modules, and SAP 4HANA
• Internal auditing of the finance processes & continuous process improvement
• Supporting the Swiss companies in accounting, according to the Swiss Code of Obligations
• Assistance in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Professional experience within an Accounting function, with strong knowledge of SAP (SD, MM, 4HANA) to a "Key User" status
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and OR
• Business-level communication skills in German and English
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing will be a huge asset, as this role will include this!
