Production & Manufacturing Controller New

Job Description

My client, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Production & Manufacturing Controller to join their fast growing business.

As the Production & Manufacturing Controller, you'll be responsible for reviewing all current processes on site and implementing new ideas, working alongside the management team on growth plans for the business. 

Task include:

• Build and maintain detailed analyses in the monthly gross margin and COGS analysis
• Identify areas in the production process that need improvement, applying a deep understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing cycle - experience with SAP is preferred for optimizing gross margin and COGS reporting
• Leverage an understanding of Accounting processes to ensure accurate and reliable analysis of gross margin and COGS data
• Analysis and extraction of key data from SAP to generate actionable insights, enabling effective decision-making
• Integrate GM/COGS analysis into monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and planning processes
• Perform cost control analysis within Operations and Supply Chain functions, providing actionable recommendations to improve cost efficiency

Essential requirements:

• Degree educated within Finance/Accounting
• Experience working within manufacturing or production
• Fluent in German, English or French
• Excellent costing knowledge 
• Strong SAP and Excel knowledge
