Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with Linde Gas AB, the world's largest industrial gas company. We are searching for a Regional Head of Business Controlling to join the Stockholm office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the region's business reporting rhythms, managing financial systems, and serving as a key business partner for material business case evaluations and strategic initiatives.

You'll directly lead a team of five, closely collaborate with regional, local, and EMEA teams, and take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and global reporting for REN (Region Europe North).

As the Regional Head of Business Controlling, you will act as the custodian of the budget and reporting processes, and represent the region in developing and improving financial systems like SAP Hana, Tableau, Power BI, and Anaplan.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in driving business performance and ensuring the financial health and strategy of the region. Your contributions will directly influence decision-making processes and the overall strategy.

Key responsibilities of the Regional Head of Business Controlling:
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly business reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions for both EMEA and global requirements
  • Oversee and enhance financial systems including SAP Hana, Tableau, and Anaplan, working closely with various teams to optimize system functionality
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, providing in-depth financial analyses and actionable insights to support business decisions
  • Drive the regional budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with the latest financial structures

Your profile:
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in business controlling within a multinational corporation, with a strong focus on financial reporting and systems management
  • Proven ability to translate complex data from multiple sources into clear and actionable management information
  • High proficiency in financial and data analytics tools, including SAP CO-FI, Tableau, and advanced MS Excel functionalities
