Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established IT Services and  Consulting firm seeking a Group Marketing Controller to join the Stockholm office.


The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting C-level Managers and their organizations by monitoring personnel and non-personnel costs, conducting business plan reviews, creating and refining budgets and forecasts, providing insightful analysis, and delivering KPI reporting. This role involves offering valuable insights and recommendations to drive cost optimization, participating in contract negotiations, and closely tracking investment and transformation projects.


This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports global support functions, primarily the Global Marketing function, but also other support functions. You'll have the chance to engage in hands-on work while thinking strategically, making a significant impact as the key connection between finance and management.


Key responsibilities of the Group Marketing Controller:

  • Provide support to global marketing and other support functions to achieve financial and operational targets by consolidating OPEX spend and presenting results.

  • Drive the forecast and budget process, including creating and refining budgets and forecasts with responsible managers.

  • Conduct profitability and ROI analysis, business plan reviews, and cost optimization, ensuring accuracy of spend during monthly closing.

  • Continuously improve processes and tasks within the FP&A team, providing in-depth analysis and financial knowledge to support the achievement of financial targets.


Your profile:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Controller or Finance Business Partner, preferably in Marketing Controlling and working with ROMI models.

  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex data, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/storytelling.

  • Adaptable communication skills and ability to manage plans, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
