Senior Global Rewards Manager (Madrid/UK) - Exclusive

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment has exclusively partnered with a global aviation client as they search for a Senior Global Reward Manager. 

Location: Madrid or the UK (with three days per week in-office)

This senior-level role will require extensive experience in creating and implementing reward structures across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global compensation practices, including country-specific elements, and be proficient in managing strategic and operational tasks.

Strong English language skills are essential for effective interaction with leadership teams and the ability to present to board-level committees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive reward strategies from scratch, tailored to multiple countries and aligned with business objectives
  • Manage executive compensation packages, including benchmarks and long-term incentives
  • Ensure adherence to global compensation practices and stay updated on country-specific elements and pay equity legislation
  • Handle bonus calculations, merit file preparation, and other operational tasks with proficiency in Excel
  • Collaborate with executive-level stakeholders and present reward strategies to board-level committees
  • Work independently and step in for the head of rewards when needed, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Optimize global benefits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Lead HRIS implementation and manage position mapping processes

Key requirements of the candidate:
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing reward structures from scratch
  • Strong understanding of global compensation practices, including country-specific elements
  • Expertise in executive compensation, benchmarks, and long-term incentives
  • Proficiency in Excel for bonus calculations and merit file preparation
  • Excellent English language skills, particularly for interaction with British leadership teams
