Our client is a global leader in delivering technical solutions and energy services. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Buyer to join their team in Rotterdam.In this role, you will be responsible for supplier involvement, contract management, and drafting EPC contracts.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Strategic Buyer:
- Oversee the purchasing process for multiple projects
- Add value to tender and project teams
- Define purchasing strategies during the tender process
- Negotiate with suppliers and draft contracts
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders
- Conduct supplier and contract management
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HBO-level education in a technical, business, or economics-related field
- At least 5 years of experience in complex purchasing processes and/or project-based purchasing
- Extensive expertise in early supplier involvement, contract creation, and management
- Solid knowledge of and experience with EPC processes
- Experience in technical services within a project-based industrial organization is an advantage
- NEVI 2 certification is a plus
- Proficiency in SAP is an advantage
- Fluency in both Dutch and English
