Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative scale-up in advanced electronics manufacturing, gearing up for its next phase of expansion.

To support this exciting growth, they are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to bridge the gap between engineering, design, and supply chain - ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and suppliers.

This role will be instrumental in driving cost efficiencies, managing contracts, and optimizing supplier interactions to enhance overall operational performance.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rotterdam, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping a supply chain.

The responsibilities of the Senior Supply Chain Manager will include:
  • Drive supplier innovation
  • Collaborating with R&D and engineering teams from product conception to manufacturing
  • Develop and manage a reliable supplier portfolio to minimize risks and ensure seamless production
  • Negotiate and oversee supplier contracts, including pricing, delivery terms and confidential agreements
  • Optimize supplier performance by improving manufacturing processes and ensuring quality
  • Lead supply chain process improvements, including automation and warehouse management
Requirements:
  • Educational background in Supply Chain Management
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in similar roles
  • Experience in the field of semiconductor equipment
  • Knowledge of Mechanics or Mechatronics is an advantage 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong convincing/negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
