Global Planning Manager

CHF 120,000 - 130,000 + hybrid working

EMEA Recruitment has partnered with an exciting, global and innovative manufacturing & engineering organisation. Our client prides itself on providing niche-quality parts for international partners and is seeking a Global Planning Manager. 

The role is based in Stans, Lucerne with 1-2 days of hybrid working.

As Global Planning Manager, you’ll spearhead the planning, design and roll-out of processes for the global operational, strategic planning performance.

In this position, you'll guarantee organizational objectives are achieved and train the relevant teams on planning tools cross-functionally throughout the business.


Your Responsibilities as the Global Planning Manager:
  • Design processes, and develop supply planning standards, policies and tools in line with new technology
  • Optimising the demand & capacity planning in cooperation with international production and logistics teams, using forecasting models for precise demand determination and long-term capacity planning
  • Mentor teams within cross-functional departments on new planning technologies
  • Continuously promote a comprehensive understanding of the different levels of planning (strategic, tactical and operational planning) and their interaction within the company through training and address-oriented communication
  • Manage inventory and ensure smooth flow of materials across international locations from demand planning to warehousing by coordinating with international hubs to avoid bottlenecks

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previously designed and created planning processes on a global scale across multiple international locations
  • Knowledge of SAP/SAP4HANA, S&OP and ideally familiarity with IBP or Kinaxis tools for upcoming potential integrations
  • Fluent in English & conversational level German-speaking
  • Strong project manager with the ability to implement new planning tools
