Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is partnering with the world’s leading food manufacturer headquartered in Zurich, a purpose-driven company shaping the industry's future. They now seek an Indirect Procurement Specialist to join their SSC team in Lodz, Poland.

Key Responsibilities of the Indirect Procurement Specialist:
  • Manage all indirect spend (Opex and Capex), focusing on short-term cost-saving opportunities through spot-buy reductions and long-term improvements via strategic sourcing activities
  • Represent the Sourcing Department in both technical and non-technical indirect spend, promoting procurement practices and highlighting the added value sourcing brings to the business
  • Act as a go-to expert on purchasing processes, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships aimed at cost reduction and inefficiency elimination throughout the procurement cycle, and alignment with the company’s core values.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify supplier optimization opportunities in line with company sourcing policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and tactics that give a competitive edge in technology and cost efficiency
About You:
  • 3-5 years of experience in indirect spend
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel), SAP, or Maximo
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher)
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
