EMEA Recruitment is partnering with the world’s leading food manufacturer headquartered in Zurich, a purpose-driven company shaping the industry's future. They now seek an Indirect Procurement Specialistto join their SSC team in Lodz, Poland.
Key Responsibilities of the Indirect Procurement Specialist:
Manage all indirect spend (Opex and Capex), focusing on short-term cost-saving opportunities through spot-buy reductions and long-term improvements via strategic sourcing activities
Represent the Sourcing Department in both technical and non-technical indirect spend, promoting procurement practices and highlighting the added value sourcing brings to the business
Act as a go-to expert on purchasing processes, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and customers
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships aimed at cost reduction and inefficiency elimination throughout the procurement cycle, and alignment with the company’s core values.
Conduct market analysis to identify supplier optimization opportunities in line with company sourcing policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and tactics that give a competitive edge in technology and cost efficiency
About You:
3-5 years of experience in indirect spend
Proficient in MS Office (Excel), SAP, or Maximo
Fluent in English (B2 level or higher)
Strong understanding of purchasing processes
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
