EMEA Recruitment is working with a dynamic, international logistics company to recruit an experienced Accountant to support their growing finance team.
Our client is a fast-expanding organization operating within a broader European group, providing critical customs and logistics services. This role offers hands-on responsibility across accounting operations in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP): process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payment execution
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR): issue customer invoices, monitor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control processes
- Assist with internal and external audits and contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and reports
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience, ideally covering both AP and AR
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Visma, or similar)
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish is a plus (but not required)
