Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a well-established FMCG business in its search for a Head of Operations to join the Lausanne office.

Based in Lausanne, the role will require 50% travel across Europe.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who is responsible for overseeing operational excellence, customer experience, and financial performance across multiple markets. 

Key responsibilities of the Head of Operations:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies in collaboration with senior leadership to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the region
  • Ensure seamless coordination between various departments, including HR, Marketing, IT, and Development, to drive operational excellence and sales growth
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety standards, food safety regulations, and brand operational policies while continuously improving quality assurance processes
  • Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring field operations teams, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting leadership development initiatives

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive business performance and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on coaching, recognition, and talent retention
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret key performance indicators and implement strategic improvements
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or QSR environment with a deep understanding of customer-centric operations
