EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organisation that is seeking an International Payroll Specialist to join their team at their headquarters in Zwaagdijk.
You will be part of a large HR team within the Payroll unit, sharing your expertise across international markets.
As a payroll expert, you and your team process the payroll & pension administration for all employees. Alongside this, you will focus on setting up international payroll processing including the main large-scale project of insourcing payroll flows.
This is a great challenge as the business continues to grow and expand in the international market.
This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days in the office.
Responsibilities of Payroll Specialist:
First point of contact for employees for payroll, including salary and other payroll-associated matters
Complex payroll administrations: processing, checking payroll, developing reports by researching and gathering information, maintaining payroll records, processing financial information
Follow both internal and external processes to ensure employment legislation and compliance is adhered to
Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring correct policy and procedures are adhered to, including salary, deductions and bonuses are completed
Contact for employees and the line in all wages, social security and taxation matters
Experience Required:
Experience in a similar role within a European, international business setting
Proven experience with establishing, implementing & maintaining appropriate internal payroll controls, operating processes, policies and procedures
Proven experience within a professional payroll service
Expertise in Payroll and HR systems including SAP
Must have knowledge of European tax, social security and payroll processes
Advanced Excel skills
