Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is proudly working exclusively with a global logistics business in its search for a Financial Controller to join its ever-growing Finance team in Tilburg.

Working in tandem with the Business Controllers, you will support a proactive and ambitious Finance Director, while also engaging with both local and global stakeholders across the business.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Controller with an independent mind who enjoys identifying where to make a difference within a digital-forward environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Controller:
  • Lead internal, mid-term and annual audits
  • Serve as a confident and trusted partner to the Finance Director
  • Provide insights into OPEX and FTE costs related to SG&A support functions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Finance processes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for site-level Finance operations
Experienced required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Demonstrated minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Logistics industry experience preferred - must have experience with producing annual reports of similar sized business
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS and a Big 4 background is beneficial
  • Fluent English and B2 level Dutch minimum is ideal
  • Experience with SAP and Qlik are advantageous
