Job Description

IT Systems (ERP) Specialist | Amsterdam | €75,000 - €85,000 + benefits

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively partnering with an ambitious, rapidly growing business as they set out on an exciting transformation journey. As they create their own IT function from the ground up, this role offers you the chance to play a key part in both the implementation of a modern ERP system and its long-term success.

The Opportunity:
As IT Systems (ERP) Specialist, you'll assist the Team Lead with implementing a new ERP/EAM system—(SAP S/4HANA or IFS)—and support its integration. Following the implementation, you’ll focus on maintaining and optimising the system to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Implementation: Assist the Team Lead in the design, rollout, and testing phases of the ERP/EAM system, including liaising with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ensure System Reliability: Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the ERP system, including troubleshooting, updates, and minor customisations.
  • Provide User Support: Address end-user queries and deliver training to improve system understanding and adoption.
  • Maintain Data Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and consistency of data within the system, ensuring configurations meet business needs.
  • Support Process Improvements: Work with the Team Lead and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for system or process enhancements.
What You’ll Bring:
  • ERP Experience: 2+ years working with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA or IFS, supporting modules like Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Technical Aptitude: A proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Team Collaboration: A supportive and cooperative attitude, working closely with the Team Lead and other departments.
  • Flexibility and Growth Mindset: Enthusiasm for contributing to both the implementation and long-term development of the system.
  • Fluency in English is essential; French is an advantage.
Why Join?
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a growing IT function in a company undergoing significant transformation. You’ll work alongside senior leaders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with flexible working arrangements (3 days in-office, 2 days from home) and a competitive salary and benefits package.
