Our client is an international organization that helps businesses stay ahead by leveraging external insights to make smarter decisions. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their diverse and dynamic team in Amsterdam.This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented leader with expertise in corporate accounting and reporting.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager:
- Prepare and refine monthly financial presentations for the CFO and CAO
- Oversee internal review pack preparation
- Manage an automated consolidation process, including intercompany recharges
- Generate and analyze income statement reports, balance sheet reports, and consolidated cashflow statements
- Support external reporting
- Address complex accounting matters proactively
- Business partner with FP&A, global Accounting, Technical Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, and Tax teams
- Optimize the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and manage two direct reports
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Control, or a similar role
- Big 4 background and a professional Accounting certification (RA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Team leadership experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and drive long-term improvements
- Strong communication skills to engage with leadership, auditors, and business partners
- Fluent in English
