About the role:

As an External Reporting Specialist, you will oversee the consolidation and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with international standards and collaborating with key teams across the organization.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing complex processes and driving improvements.

Key responsibilities of the External Reporting Specialist:

• Manage collection of financial data from subsidiaries and investee companies
• Oversee the consolidation process and the preparation of financial statements and disclosures
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with IFRS, including reviewing accounting treatments and preparing position papers
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth audits and regulatory compliance
• Improve financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g. lean process improvements, automation)

• Strong knowledge of IFRS (and Dutch GAAP preferably) and experience with consolidation/reporting systems
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate setting or a Big 4 audit firm, with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• University degree in Accounting, Economics or similar. Postgraduate degree, preferable Registered/Certified Accountant (RA/CA/ACCA or relevant equivalent)
• Fluent in English
