Location: Amsterdam, with up to 50% home officeAre you an experienced Finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity within a global organization?
Our client, a leading engineering and construction group, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Amsterdam office.
In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and take ownership of end-to-end Accounting activities for over 15 entities in the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:
- Oversee day-to-day Finance operations, including AR, AP, and GL
- Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheets
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly account closures
- Manage payments via online banking systems
- Provide data and documentation to external tax consultants
- Conduct forex revaluation processes for monetary assets and liabilities
- Support annual audits and contribute to their preparation
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of IFRS
- Familiarity with Dutch tax legislation
- Experience within a holding or investment company (preferred)
- Fluency in English
