EMEA Recruitment is supporting a well-established global organization in the food industry. Our client seeks to strengthen its Procurement team by hiring a Cocoa Buyer.

In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality cocoa, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective procurement strategies.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage risk, optimise sourcing decisions, and support the company’s sustainability commitments.

The organization is seeking a procurement professional with experience in cocoa or commodity buying within an international environment.

We are looking for a high-caliber Cocoa Buyer with the following skills and experience:

• Strong background in commodity procurement, ideally within cocoa or other agricultural raw materials
• Experience in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications in the cocoa industry and the ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sourcing plans
• Experience working in an international environment, managing cross-functional collaborations
• Fluent German is essential

The position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to take on a pivotal role in shaping ethical and efficient sourcing strategies. Some travel will be required for supplier engagement and industry events.
