EMEA Recruitment is working with a global client seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their expanding organization based in Denmark.
You will be their first HR team member on the ground and play a key role in shaping and building local HR processes, supporting employees, and helping to create a strong foundation.
As the Senior HR Generalist, you'll be closely connected to their wider people team based in Amsterdam and work collaboratively to align the overall HR strategy.
This role would be ideal for a HR professional who wants to deepen their expertise and take full ownership of their work in an ambitious yet informal environment. I am looking for someone eager to build hands-on experience across a broad range of responsibilities while becoming a true generalist.
Your core responsibilities as the Senior HR Generalist:
Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned with the best market practices
Oversee the employee onboarding process, including assisting in post-recruitment efforts, new hire employee orientation, scheduling and paperwork
Coordinate logistics around expat hires
Manage and maintain all employee files, digital library and records
Assist in Benefits administration
Provide a high level of service to employees for all general HR issues
Coordinate Immigration cases and records, including maintaining documentation and case progression
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor's in a relevant field (Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration)
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably within an international, tech-driven, organization, preferably in a scale-up environment
Strong knowledge of employment legislation in Denmark
Comfortable working with high standards in a dynamic and flat organization
Hands on mentality, able to prioritize, plan and use time effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish
