Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is working with a leading global organization in the transport sector to recruit an Internal Audit Manager for their office in Copenhagen.

The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of auditing experience, and an ability to perform root cause analysis, ensure compliance, and conduct both operational and transformation audits.

This role involves overseeing complex audits across multiple business units to assess and strengthen governance and internal controls.

Key responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager include:

• Leading audits across business areas focusing on transformation audits, compliance, root cause analysis, and business process improvement
• Advising management on risks and internal controls, ensuring alignment with corporate governance
• Reporting findings and actionable recommendations to senior management to support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives
• Collaborating with global audit and compliance teams to drive best practices and share knowledge

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of Audit experience
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CA, or CPA
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, with excellent communication and report-writing skills
