WHAT'S THE ROLE?

As a member of Hilti's Global Logistics team, you will manage the Supply and Operations Planning process, with a focus on Production (MPS) and Distribution Planning. This will help drive our value creation and operational performance.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

As the Central Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Operations Planning process within our Global S&OP. Your role will involve managing the Product Availability, Inventory, COGS, and OPEX on a global scale for a Business Unit product portfolio. You will be responsible for supervising and consolidating demand requirements, collaborating with Production and the BU teams to define a capacity and production plan. Additionally, you will manage central availability allocation and distribution in line with the tactical planning cycle. You will be accountable for conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvement actions to continuously enhance the End-to-End Supply Chain performance and Service to Customer.

The team operates globally and collaborates with HQ functions in Business Units, Global Logistics, Process Management, as well as Markets/Regional Planning teams, Production Plants, and Suppliers.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

 

  • Passionate about SC Planning, Operations, S&OP and to create enthusiastic customers!
  • Master’s / University degree preferably in Supply Chain Management and Operations
  • 3+ years’ experience in Demand and Supply Planning role in a Global or Regional organization preferably with Central Planning set up.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen attention to details,
  • Collaborative team member with strong problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast and changing environment
  • SCM systems know-how most and preferable in SAP/R3, SAP/APO, BI, Blue Yonder (JDA)
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is considered a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication, Fluent in English, German is a plus
