Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is assisting an international company in recruiting an IT Manager to join their team.

Location: Budapest, Hungary (hybrid, 3x per week from the office)
Job Type: Full-time

Key responsibilities of the IT Manager:
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance workplace technology, user experience, and security
  • Manage and standardize endpoint solutions, including laptops, desktops, and virtual desktops (VDI)
  • Oversee system updates, patch deployments, and ensure security compliance across multiple regions
  • Improve digital workplace solutions, including mobile device management, device tracking, and access control
  • Enhance endpoint security, monitoring, and threat protection to safeguard company assets
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to implement best practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity measures

About you:
  • 7+ years in IT Operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role and extensive experience in Workplace/End-User Device management and IT infrastructure
  • Fluent English (C1 level)
  • Expertise in VDI, security protocols, compliance, and patch management
  • Strong project management capabilities with an organized, detail-focused approach
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL, Azure, Citrix) are advantageous
  • Proficiency in a second European language is a plus
