EMEA Recruitment is collaborating with a dynamic, international organisation in the FMCG sector to find a HR Director.
In this role, you will oversee all Human Resource functions at the company's manufacturing plants.
This leadership position also involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the plant’s operational goals, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving employee engagement and development.
Your key responsibilities as the Plant HR Director:
Develop and execute HR strategies to support plant operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with all unionized legislation, local labor laws and regulations
Oversee the administration of benefits, payroll, and compensation programs
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and high performance
Partner with plant management to address workforce challenges and optimize productivity
Handle complex employee relations issues and investigations
Implement and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
Manage labor relations and negotiate with unions, if applicable
Key requirements of the candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred
10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of a unionized manufacturing environment with a full understanding labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
