Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our client's team in Basel.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products.

The successful candidate will be Fluent in English & German.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, from procurement to distribution
  • Optimize supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of products without overstocking
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to logistics and supply chain

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools
  • Fluency in English & German is essential
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
