Job Description

Our client, a renowned leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead their Supply Chain operations, drive efficiency, and contribute to their continued success.

Based out of the Basel area, key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Director include:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination across all supply chain functions
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Requirements:
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in Supply Chain, ideally within the manufacturing industry or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
